Tree Lighting and Christmas Caroling
For old fashioned family fun, you are welcome to join the WWHRA for a tree lighting ceremony, hot chocolate, and Christmas caroling at the Hemlock Drive Park Site on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.

Christmas Decorating Contest
The WWHRA is again having a Christmas Decorating Contest, with prizes being awarded to the 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winners. Prizes will be awarded by the Executive at the tree lighting ceremony on December 16, 2006.

Decorative Entrance Lighting
For those who have been wandering when the decorative lights will be operational, we are pleased to advise that the remaining light fixture is presently being installed, and after this is completed the lights should be operational within five days.

Westwood Hills Food Bank Drive
We would like to thank everyone who worked hard to make the Westwood Hills Food Bank Drive a great success. With the generosity and support of the community, Westwood Hills donated a total of 283 bags of food to the metro food bank.

WWHRA Executive Members Needed
At the upcoming Annual General Meeting in 2007, the current Executive will be resigning, and positions of President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer will need to be filled if the WWHRA is to continue. The current Executive has enjoyed serving the Westwood Hills community over the past few years, and will continue to support the Association’s efforts and projects, but feel it is time for new energy and ideas to come forward. If anyone is interested in being on the Executive, or volunteering in anyway or form, please contact Joe Lavers at 830-2618.
